Living in Fetcham, I feel so lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful Surrey Hills. There are so many stunning locations in and around Surrey for family/maternity photography sessions. Here are a few of my favourite spots.
These are just suggestions, please note I am always happy to travel to new areas if you have a special place in mind.
My shoots will always be earlier in the morning, or later in the afternoon/evening as this is when the sun is lower in the sky and therefore more flattering. I will give you an idea of our meet time when you book your shoot date, a day or two before you shoot I will check the weather and confirm and exact meet time/location.

Headley Health
Meet location: Headley Common Road, Headley Heath, Surrey, KT18 6NN (opposite the cricket ground). National Trust car park fees apply.
This is a great location as there is plenty of quiet spots to take your pictures, lots of space to run around and trees to climb. Beautiful colours all year round.
It's a short walk to get to the location I normally use, however if you have time it's always nice to walk to the viewpoint to get some extra images for your gallery.
Bookham Commons
Meet Place: Tunnel Car Park - Church Road, Great Bookham, Surrey, Nearest postcode KT23 3LT. National Trust car park fees apply.
Approx 10 minute walk to the quiet area I use for my shoots. This is a lovely location as you are surrounded with the beautiful trees, the main path leading to the clearing is normally very busy and there are lots of dogs at all times.
Boxhill
Meet location: In front of the National Trust shop at the top of the hill. Box Hill Road, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 7LB
Approx a 10 minute bumpy walk to the location I use for my shoots. Stunning views, however can be very busy, so this isn't the best location if you feel a bit camera shy and don't want to be seen having your pictures taken.
Ranmore
Meet location - Denbies Hillside Ranmore Common Road, near Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6SR
It's a short walk to get to the shoot location, however if you have time we can venture into the woods for additional images. This is also a great location for bluebell images.
It can be very busy and there are always lots of dogs.
Bushy Park
Meet location: The Diana Fountain car park, which is near the ponds and the children’s playground, can only be reached via the gate at the southern end of Chestnut Avenue, i.e. on Hampton Court Road, opposite the Lion Gate to Hampton Court Palace grounds.
Car park - free.
Around a 7 minute walk to the shoot location. Plenty of space to run around, lots of quiet places. It's always nice to go to the pond after the main shoot to get some additional images for your gallery.
Chobham Common.
Meet location - Roundabout car park postcode GU24 8TL.
Free parking.
Wide open space with beautiful colours all year round, again lots of quiet places for your shoot and a short walk from the car park.
